I hate that this is NP because it’s still a lot of money, but these are rare and this is clean. The only way you’ll find one cheaper is if you got lucky enough to find one somewhere that hates Subarus like Alabama, but I doubt there are any there in the first place.

I’m not sure you can find a better example or a better deal... Reluctant niche NP

As near as makes no difference a 17 year old car, and over 100K ... surely not 5 figures. I’m guessing the price starts with a 7.

CP, you can find them for $5k. Sure manuals are way harder to find, but I’d suffer for an auto if it meant saving $9.5g’s

So, well, one of you knuckleheads go and buy it. I think it’s less than 9 grand at minimum. And has all the maintenance been done? ... damn, I am an asshole.

You’d have to be completely insane to buy this car. I know a guy that bought the sedan version (manual!) with fewer miles for a lot less and that thing is a serious pile of junk. It has sat in his driveway far more than he has driven it and the repairs just to briefly drive it were expensive.

He was actually happy when one of our coworkers backed into it. He hoped it would be totaled, but the rarity and that damned PNW Subaru tax meant it was too valuable to total so they paid to fix the body and it broke down again about a week after he got it back...

CP all day. 11 years old. 110k miles. Still just a 4 banger Subaru.

Or you could have for the same amount of money:

-e46 m3 and a 90's legacy for the winter

-c55 AMG and a 90's forester

-b5 s4 with money left over for turbo upgrades and all of the inevitable repairs

-w211 e55 AMG (almost 500hp!) and a lifted justy or money left over to mod said e55 to 600hp

-v70r with money left for repairs

-manual allroad with money left for repairs

-callaway c4 corvette

Please don’t feed the PNW Subaru market bubble. It will be like the great recession all over again. But with subarus instead of bad mortgages. Sort of.
